UDS: Lubuntu ya pertenece al ecosistema de Ubuntu
En la sesión de hoy “Integrate Lubuntu into Ubuntu ecosystem”, se ha aprovado la inclusión de Lubuntu (LXDE desktop), por la que tanto se ha luchado.
Ya comentó hace dias Mark Shuttleworth que creia que estaba lista para ser incluida el el mundo de Ubuntu y hoy se ha corroborado, aunque como podréis ver al final de las notas de la sesión, queda a falta de escribir el anuncio oficial.
Lubuntu 11.10, será la primera versión que tendrá apoyo oficial de Ubuntu.

Genial! Como distro “ligera” me parece mejor que XUbuntu (que ultimamente comia casi como la mismisima Ubuntu).
